Carried Away

I may have gotten carried away by the fabulous weather this weekend.  It was magnificent.  Mid-70s in the middle of January?  What?!  ATLiens were obligated to be out enjoying the weather and that’s just what we did.  Everywhere I went it was packed.

I decided to take this great weather and babyfreedom as an opportunity to get some exercise.  Unfortunately, I think I tried to get a month’s worth of exercise into two days.  Not smart.  On Saturday I had tennis practice for two hours.  Practice is normally on Fridays but was rescheduled because it rained on Friday.

On Sunday I headed over to my old stomping grounds, Silver Comet Trail, and did a walk/run.  I did over 4 miles and was energized (and exhausted) when I left.  I spent the afternoon watching my tennis team play and then I headed to another two hour tennis practice in the evening.

That’s a bit much and I am currently so exhausted I barely have the energy to write this post.  Fortunately, my computer was sitting next to me so I only had to lean over about 3 inches to pick it up.

The rest of the weekend was spent being super productive.  I did laundry.  I had to log in to work for a few hours.  I put the Christmas tree away.  And I made some super yummy guacamole.

I had a good weekend. Was out and about both Fri and Sat nights! whohoo! I’m starting to train for a tri so I took my bike out on Saturday and rode for an hour. I have a lot of work to do regarding this Tri training. Sunday was a bust! I was supposed to go for a long run and ride my bike but the weather while warm was damp and rainy here in the DMV. I ended up on my couch watching TV the entire day. oh well.

I just tree and ornaments down on Saturday! I felt so bad. My mother always made us take stuff down by the 6th.

The weather was great Saturday…I flew out on Sunday and arrived her and it was chilly! I am not pleased. So Cal should have perfect weather.

I really need to put out tree away, too. We went wine tasting instead of doing stuff around the house, due to the great weather we also had.
