Real Husbands of Hollywood

The first time I watched this show I was so confused.  I had never even heard of it and only turned it on because everyone on the twittuh was watching it.  Matter of fact, I had to look up what channel B E T was on my tv because I don’t think I’ve ever watched it since I’ve been in the house.

I watched it and got a few chuckles and decided I’d watch it again sometime.  When I was home last month I had the chance to watch about three consecutive episodes.  I was hooked.  It’s so damn funny!

Basically, the stars of the show play themselves, but with a fictional storyline.  They are essentially making fun of themselves.  They also make fun of each other.  Kevin is naturally the recipient of most of clowning and disrespect.  He plays that character so well.

Kevin is hysterical, but I think Nick Cannon is my fave.  The scene where he pulled out a “blank check from Mimi” had me hollering!

I think it’s hilarious, I need to catch-up, I record the episodes and watch them later.

The episode with Sugar Shane Mosely had me in stitches! Elise Neal knocking JB Smooth out. Robin Thicke singing a 20 minute National Anthem. That was just pure foolishness. ROFL :-)

This episode and the one where Kevin uses Robin’s song (and he turns into Terry Crews) have been the best so far. I laughed so hard I cried at both of them.

Yes, the “Robin-hulks-out-into-Terry Crews” and JB’s version of Punk’d episodes are my favs so far.

Faizon: “So, where’s my car?” LOLOL!

Yesterday’s episode is still on my DVR…waiting for me. :)

This show makes me LAUGH. Kevin’s obsession with Paula Patton cracks me up.

I watched a couple of episodes on Demand because I stumbled upon it looking for RHOA and gave it a chance. Hilarious. I’m not adding it to my DVR list but will go grab it from on demand once in a while. Love the foolishness.

Ok this post has convinced me to give this show another try. The first episode was not funny at all to me.

    • Dark&Lovely says:

Yep, give it another try because the first few weren’t that funny in my opinion. The last few were pretty funny but am I the only one annoyed that Kevin yells all.the.time. Sometimes I’m not in the mood for his yelling

My husband somehow started watching it. I thought it was stupid at first but I have to admit, the last couple episodes have been funny.

i like it but I’m a Kevin Hart fan so I knew I would. I love the Boris eye candy as well as his character. I enjoy the fact that they are all over exaggerated versions of themselves on the show.

I’ve been literally LOL since episode one! It cracks me up eveytime! However, I’m behind on a episode or two now.

The Mister and I were really excited about this show and very disappointed in the first three episodes. Then I randomly started watching again starting with the Sugar Shane epi and we were cracking up. I’ll continue to watch. I like the idea of the show. It is a little different from anything I would expect to watch on BET.
