This is Happening

I’ve been waiting for the people over at Google to issue and “Sike!” press release in which they let us know that they were just messing with us when they said they were taking away our beloved Google Reader.  Instead I’ve been getting nasty little reminders every time I log in reminding me that Reader is going away July 1st.  So I guess this is really happening.

I’m usually the type of person that likes to pretend my problems don’t exist, but I guess this weekend I really need to face this issue and decide what I’m going to do.  I’m pretty sure I’ll stick with Feedly, mainly because it’s already loaded on my ipad and I don’t feel like looking for any other options.  But first, I have questions!

So, you know when you log into Feedly and it has you log in to your reader account?  Will I still need to do that after Reader goes away or do I need to create a feedly sign-in and somehow load all my feeds in?

Also, how do I add new feeds?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.  After installing my Directv on demand box last night, my brain can’t handle anything else too taxing.

You are really lucky you are my wifey because you are very spoiled and demanding today!

To add feeds on the web version, on the left hand side, next the the My Feedly is a button that says add content.

On the phone app, the add content button is right above the button that says settings

I got an e-mail, yesterday, telling me to select a box to migrate my feeds to feedly.

  3. I switched over to feedly just this week. So far so good. I haven’t even had to sign on, so I assume its using my same sign in info from google. My computer recognizes it & I am already in. I am going to install the android app on my phone today so I can play around with that version.
